SOFGEN Resize Tool

The SOFGEN Resize Tool does for TEMENOS GLOBUS™/ T24™ systems what "Disk Defrag" does for Windows users. As time passes, and as old data is overwritten and new data is created within the banking system, data storage becomes inefficient. Data which is logically contiguous is physically fragmented in the system, resulting in lower performance over time. Internally, the data is not occupying all the space at its disposition. The SOFGEN Resize Tool automatically reorganizes data within the TEMENOS GLOBUS™/ T24™ system, maximizing storage capacity while also optimizing overall system performance. The Resize Tool's architecture allows for it to be run in parallel to other system activities, thereby allowing operation during working hours as well as during Close of Business processing. This flexibility allows SOFGEN's customers to run this utility on a regular basis.
