SOFGEN Archiving System

With each day's usage of the TEMENOS GLOBUS™/ T24™ system, more data is generated; whether this is static data or transaction data this can eventually lead to a degradation in system performance. In post implementation project phases, planned archival and data removal is critical. The SOFGEN Archiving Solution, fully integrated in TEMENOS GLOBUS™/ T24™, allows our customers to have the best of both worlds - increased performance coupled with online access to archived data, thereby easing the interaction the bank has with respect to its historical information. The tool also allows for rapid recovery of any archived data. Our parameter driven approach allows SOFGEN clients to store their archived data outside of the banking system, thus reducing disk usage in parallel with increasing overall system performance.
