TAILORED SOLUTIONS FOR BANKS

System Implementation & Business Process Reengineering

Lifecycle Continuum
Gap Analysis

Even the most powerful software cannot cover the requirements of every bank and SOFGEN consultants compare the software against the Design Document and the System Architecture Document in order to determine what additional functionality (if any) is to be developed. In order to keep local developments and customizations to a minimum, any additional functionality should be fully justified.

For each identified and accepted Gap, the following activities are undertaken:

  • Functional specifications are written and signed off
  • These are passed to developers in order that technical specifications may be completed
  • They are verified against the System Architecture for integrity
  • At this point, a development estimate is prepared

Gaps come in many forms, from organizational changes and reporting needs to technical constraints and processing rules. SOFGEN´s consultants conduct workshops with bank staff members to unveil such gaps, and then generate solutions as per the steps above that are added to the Design Document, System Architecture (if necessary), SOFGEN GRID and implementation plan.
