The Avaloq Group



The Avaloq Group is a company based in Zurich that has developed an approach to core banking software that involves object–oriented design and a workflow management engine. Avaloq takes a team approach by contracting with a group of high–quality partners, such as SOFGEN, the first Avaloq partner in Asia, to provide software solutions to asset managers, private banking divisions and commercial banks.

The Avaloq Banking System was developed starting in 1994, with its roots going back to BZ Informatik, which was formed in 1985. Today the company serves clients in countries such as Singapore and Germany as well as Switzerland and Luxembourg.

Working with SOFGEN to implement the Avaloq system adds to Avaloq´s international presence and lowers costs for clients since SOFGEN has consultants in place worldwide. SOFGEN also offers test management and training services and is able to develop new software tools to support implementation and management of the Avaloq system.
