The SEM Communication Manager represents an enhanced messaging tool, which is plugged between the two OFS layers, handling both incoming and outgoing messages through dedicated connectors.
The SEM Communication Manager is used to route messages.
To trigger automatically the adequate workflow, incoming messages will be prefixed with the id of the Request Table (table where users define event conditions and subsequent workflows/actions to be taken).
This message is then translated into the OFS format and routed with instructions into TEMENOS GLOBUS™/ T24™ via the classical channels.
The SEM Communication Manager has the additional capacity to switch the connectors from receiving to sending a message. Example, a message received through Telnet could be resent via a native MQ Series connector. The SEM Communication Manager can also run in parallel to a normal OFS processing.
